Alumni Association

The period you spent at HARD might have been the best part of your entire study, but the fun things are over before you know it and you have to say goodbye to your teammates. You are going to move, work or continue studying at another study program. Contact with your old team members will reduce and you’ll only see something about HARD through social media. That is why the Hanze Racing Division Alumni Association was created.

The alumni association is especially for former HARD members. We were founded in 2019, not only to strengthen the bond between the alumni and HARD but also to maintain contact and knowledge within the team. Knowledge transfer is important to be able to design, build, present and race a good Formula Student car- we have all acquired this knowledge during our time at HARD.

As an alumni association, we organise several activities a year. Some activities will be organized together with HARD. In addition, we are a source of information for the team and we will help them with feedback on, for example, the design of the car and the Engineering Design, Cost & Manufacturing and the Business Plan Presentation so that they are as well prepared as possible for the FS-season. As an alumni member you are of course also invited to all important HARD events such as the Roll-out.
