Lead electrical

Hello! my name is Tim Heubner and I’m the current Lead of the Electrical Team.

I’m a Electrical Engineer student, and my interest in a more hands-on experience of engineering made me start at Hard almost 3 years ago. In my current role, which I have had for over a year, I manage the electrical engineering team. I keep an overview, assign tasks, keep everyone on track and maintain a good motivation. In this way, I try to ensure that we can keep a good progress.

Amongst the new skills that I learned in this lead position are many related to organization like creating short- and long-term plans, and management of different projects and sub-teams. I also have improved my teamwork skills and people-management.

The secret of being a good Lead Electrical is to be motivated and open to learn. And although it is useful to have an understanding of the technical aspects of the project, one learns by doing. In this sense, being responsible, reliable, open to learn, and with good general social skills, is all you need if you want to become the next Lead Electrical. The idea is to grow in the role and have fun in the process. It is a great opportunity!
